A case can be made for many, but the form TAI SING YEH is in this season makes him very hard to oppose. The topweight has three wins from ten outings this season and has never finished out of the top four, and looks set for another bold showing here. Showmolina was very good at Naas and can give the selection most to think about, while Eleuthera is another worthy of consideration. Billy Lee on Fit For Function is eye-catching, while Samrogue and Coffeemeanscoffee complete the shortlist.
18:15 Reinforce
Quite an interesting maiden. If REINFORCE can recapture the form he showed at Fairyhouse on his penultimate run then he should be good enough. John O’Donoghue is having a good season with two-year-olds and he should be more suited by a flatter track. Queen Of Ours took a while to get going on debut but was far from disgraced behind a smart type, while newcomers Executive Decision and Zaza Zut are others to keep an eye on.
18:45 Kodi Red
Borletti sets the standard based on his Railway Stakes run, but it’s hard to have confidence based on his Fairyhouse defeat last time. Preference is for impressive Navan winner KODI RED. He was far from disgraced in Listed company at Tipperary on his penultimate start and backed up that with a cracking display the last day. Picture Blue looks the best of the newcomers, while Invincible Cry is another worth watching.
19:15 Are we Dreaming (NAP)
There was plenty to like about ARE WE DREAMING (nap)’s impressive success at the Curragh on Sunday and an 11lb rise might not be enough to stop this filly going in again. Only Spoofing wasn’t far behind the selection and can give another good account but the well handicapped Shabaaby might be the main danger this time after getting his head back in front last month.

This looks a good opportunity for GOOD HEAVENS to get back to winning ways. He ran a cracker at Killarney last time when meeting slight trouble in running and a reproduction of that effort should be enough to take care of business here. Stablemate Federal can chase him home.
20:15 Ta Na La
Not a particularly strong handicap to complete the card and TA NA LA might be the one who can take advantage having returned to form with a close up fourth at Naas earlier this month. Linger For Longer is a threat if she handles this quicker ground and Yokkell is another to consider after a career best last time out.
