Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

13:00 Lingfield – Habanero Star (Daily Express, The Scout)

HABANERO STAR has a patchy profile but she’s won on turf in three of her last four starts including off 4lb lower at Yarmouth last time. 0-8 on AW but she’s run respectably over C&D and has claims if she can transfer her progress back to this sphere. Respected in hat-trick bid.

15:30 Southwell – Trusty Scout (Mirror Online, Melissa Jones)

TRUSTY SCOUT has been in the frame over a variety of trips this year as when third of 11 in a similar race at Wolverhampton last month, but he didn’t build on that back there next time.

18:38 Sandown – Mrs U S A (Daily Telegraph, Marlborough)

MRS U S A has shown clear promise in 5f novice events at Lingfield and Beverley, both times finishing second to Lady Hollywood who looks a useful sort. Holds solid form claims and has the bonus of being ridden by William Buick, who has a good strike-rate for George Boughey.

20:08 Sandown – Frantanck (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

FRANTANCK won maiden at Goodwood in April on reappearance, digging deep when challenged. Swamped by two Godolphin rivals when he again tried to make all in novice at Newmarket seven weeks later but it was improved form. Well worth a go at 1m2f and could be well treated anyway on this handicap debut.
