Preference is for ADELISA (nap), who turned things around when landing a gamble under an attacking ride at Kempton two weeks ago. She’s 6lb higher but remains well treated on her old form in Ireland and may well be able to dominate again to make to 2-2 for her new yard. Habanero Star has won on turf in three of her last four runs and is a big danger if she can transfer her form back to AW. Another to keep an eye on is Dewey Road, who is on dangerous mark with cheekpieces added on his first run for Mick Appleby.

13:35 – Malhumorada
This could revolve around Clear To Land and MALHUMORADA who both found improvement to finish runner-up off the same mark last week. The former kept on well over 7.4f at Beverley but preference is for Malhumorada, who finished well to go very close at Nottingham and could take another major step forward on her step up to this trip. Most of the others have something to prove but there are several nursery newcomers who need checking in the market.
14:10 – Fascinating Lips
Zoom Zoom Babe chased home an improver at Ffos Las two weeks ago and she should be in the mix again, while Breckland has had a win and near miss on turf in his last two starts and is respected on his step up to this trip. However, the vote goes to Gary Moore’s C&D winner FASCINATING LIPS, who returned to action with a good second at Newbury last month and drops back in grade.

14:45 – Kaatibb
An open race in which the vote goes to the Crisfords’ KAATIBB, who resumed his progress with a clear second behind an odds-on rival in a Ripon maiden two weeks ago and looks on a dangerous mark back in a handicap. There are plenty of interesting rivals in opposition but Sir Michael Stoute’s handicap newcomer Melody Cher is feared most on her step up to 1m.

15:20 – Ischia
Top of the list is James Fanshawe’s unexposed filly ISCHIA, who went very close in a Windsor novice on her comeback last month and is open to more progress off what looks a fair mark on her handicap debut. The ex-Irish Our Louise had a close call over C&D on her stable debut last week and she’s a big danger if she can repeat that form. Others with each-way claims are Alcazan and Come On Girl.
15:55 – Party Island
Preference is for PARTY ISLAND, who made it 5-12 on AW with his gritty win over C&D last month and still looks feasibly treated off his revised mark. Second choice is Ocean Ruler, who was a good second behind an improver here last time and still has potential after only six starts. Others who could be dangerous are Rampoldi Plan and Semser.
