16:30 – Prince of Verona

An open contest but the Hogan yard has perked up a bit lately and a tentative selection is PRINCE OF VERONA who can be ridden on the front end. Recent runners-up David Garrick and Ladiam, along with the consistent Vocito, have their chance as well.

17:00 – Rebel Rose & Troubled Times

The mares REBEL ROSE and TROUBLED TIMES stand out and both are coming back in trip. A greater depth of experience is enough to give the nod to the former.

17:30 – One Last Tango

C&D winner Tullypole Annie is the solid one but it would be no surprise if bumper winner ONE LAST TANGO left his handicap debut form behind having shown promise in maidens. The well-bred Reflectionist has an interesting jockey booking and is one that could come alive in the market.

18:00 – Great Realisation (NAP)

The hat-trick-seeking Lieutenant Highway has obvious claims and the form of his win at Downpatrick was boosted lately. Preference, though, is for the 4yo GREAT REALISATION (nap) who gets a nice bit of weight from his rivals and was in good form when last seen in the spring.

18:30 – Island Mahee

A tricky contest despite the small field. ISLAND MAHEE had a poor win record going into her last run and usually the Crawford horses find it much easier to win in Britain but she did it well and in theory this is a lesser race. Story Rory is noted.

19:00 – Natural Look (Each Way)

NATURAL LOOK makes massive each-way appeal with the 16 runners now she steps up in trip. For The Cause has some upside and was backed on latest.

19:30 – Rossies Tara

A handful of these make plenty of each-way appeal with the 16 runners. ROSSIES TARA is one of them for her Connacht stable. Lady L’Lerom knocks on the door. Everything changes if the McNally runner, Miss Polly Shelby, comes alive.

20:00 – Duncreevan

DUNCREEVAN must have had an issue or two but clearly should win this if all is well on debut for Gavin Cromwell. Expect more from Follow The Brave in a race that is likely to involve volatile wagering patterns.
