Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

14:35 Curragh – No More Porter (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)

NO MORE PORTER was twice a winner here last year (including at this trip) and running well in defeat this season, notably latest 2 in valuable 1m handicaps here; tried in cheekpieces now dropped back in trip.

15:08 Chester – Live In The Dream (Wolverhampton Express, Andrew Bladen)

LIVE IN THE DREAM made virtually all over C&D in May and matched that form when second in Listed race at Sandown 35 days ago; mark demands some improvement and stall nine presents quite a big ask for one that tends to lead.

15:30 Newbury – Maria Branwell (Western Morning News, Jeffrey Ross)

MARIA BRANWELL Finished strongly to win the Listed National Stakes at Sandown (5f, good to soft) in May and took her form to an even higher level when third in a big field for the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot (5f, good to firm) three weeks later; that sets a useful standard for the others to aim at.

18:15 Doncaster – Royal Dress (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

ROYAL DRESS was ordinary on debut but better at Newmarket second time (6f, good) when she would have gone close with more luck in running; probably needs a bit more to win this with inexperienced jockey taking over.
