14:03 – Slan Abhaile
I don’t think this will be straightforward for Little Big Bear. I like Slan Abhaile as I’m keen on horses who can win when they’re not performing at their best. She did that at the Curragh in June. She was too keen, switched out in the middle but she finished well to win. I was visually taken with her.

14:35 – Neo Soul
I’m going for Neo Soul for Ger Lyons. He ran well behind Ano Syra in the Rockingham last month. He’s going back up in trip which will suit and Colin Keane is back on board after not riding at the Curragh last time out.

15:10 – Mooneista
Mooneista is the one to beat. I was with her at Ascot when she finished fourth behind Nature Strip in the King’s Stand Stakes. Ladies Church has also caught my eye. Why has John Murtagh chucked her in here off a mark of 97? He must think she’s a Group filly. You’re assuming she’s on there to be making up the numbers. She’s worth keeping an eye on.

15:45 – History
* This week’s FTHM podcast was recorded prior to Emily Upjohn pulling out of the Juddmonte Irish Oaks.
Emily Upjohn should clearly win so you’re looking at something to chase her home. I’d side with History for Aidan O’Brien. There’s not a major reason for picking her over Magical Lagoon apart from Aidan’s runners always showing big improvement.
