Although he has yet to prove himself on turf and is having his first run at this trip, SEVEN POCKETS is a progressive sort who is bred to make a staying turf handicapper and can prove too strong for Emaraty Hero and recent course winner Arctic Fox.

Most of these have something to prove and the most solid option is JILLY COOPER, who has finished placed in her last three runs and is on the same mark as for her creditable second at Chester last Friday. Poet’s Magic goes back up in trip and down in grade and is a big danger if she can recapture the form of her win over the selection last month. Another to keep an eye on is Breaking Light, who has had wind surgery and looks a possible improver back at 7f on her handicap debut.
16:42 Allo Arry
The most appealing option in what looks an uncompetitive maiden is ALLO ARRY, who ran on strongly for fourth on Tapeta last month and can hopefully build on that performance now back on turf. Go Sing made an encouraging British debut at Thirsk and is second choice, ahead of Barney’s Angel and the unraced filly Floral Splendour.
