MRS U S A is a Starspangledbanner filly who made a promising start when second of 6 to Lady Hollywood in 5f Lingfield novice 17 days ago, green and no match for the winner but running on strongly. She’s sure to build on that and this Lowther entry enjoys a 7lb pull in the weights now too. Player.

19:20 Chelmsford – Satono Japan (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

Debut in 2019 remains SATONO JAPAN’S only win (ten starts) but there has been plenty of useful form, including when second of six over C&D in April on sole outing this year. Contender.

19:50 Chelmsford – Storm Castle (Mirror Online, Melissa Jones)

STORM CASTLE ran twice on soft last autumn. Markedly better when close third of 13 in novice at Windsor four weeks ago, making most. Firmly in calculations after that and may well build on that performance.

20:50 Chelmsford – Sir Gregory (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

SIR GREGORY has two wins for this yard, latterly over C&D in April off a 5lb lower mark. Solid effort at Nottingham ten days ago and now drops back in class with cheekpieces enlisted. High on the shortlist.
