13:50 Newmarket – Green Team (Daily Telegraph, Marlborough)

GREEN TEAM trained as 2yo by Kevin Ryan. Ran well when second of five on handicap/stable debut at Bath in May. There’s stamina on the dam’s side and he probably stayed 1m6f when seventh of 12 in Group 2 at Royal Ascot, coming from last on home turn, but Zechariah and Al Qareem were ahead.

14:25 Newmarket – Little Big Bear (Mirror Online, Melissa Jones)

LITTLE BIG BEAR went very close on his debut at the Curragh then went one better at Naas. Followed up in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and the clear, neck runner-up Rocket Rodney franked that form in fine style in the Dragon Stakes on Saturday. Every chance he’ll be fine now back up to 6f and has strong form claims.

15:00 Newmarket – Khanjar (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

KHANJAR is progressing nicely on a sound surface and 2-2 over 6f. Stepped up a fair way on juvenile form when bolting up on handicap debut at Ripon. More to do from 9lb higher mark in stronger race but he’s a well-regarded sort who is capable of better still. Fascinating for in-form yard.

19:08 Newbury – Splendent (Racing Post, Lambourn)

SPLENDENT came good in 1m2f AW maiden last November and stepped up again when runner-up on 1m2f Windsor handicap debut on reappearance ten days ago. Entitled to come on for the run and is respected.
