16:55 – Carlton Gardens
The drop in class might lead to improved fortunes for Grizabella, while Shaky Operator should do better over this more conventional track than at Ballinrobe. Preference is for CARLTON GARDENS, who ran well despite not staying in a Navan maiden last time and should go close in this class of race.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
17:25 – Ebendi
Interesting contest. The form of EBENDI‘s last run is probably the best on show and a reproduction of his Killarney run may see him a tough nut to crack here. The Jam Man ran a cracker at the Curragh and it would be no surprised if he improved in this, while Dollar Value is always an interesting contender who is likely to set a good pace. Stellium needs to improve on his last start.
17:55 – Borletti
BORLETTI (nap) sets a good standard, only beaten 2l in the Railway Stakes, and may prove a hard nut to crack back in maiden company. Blindsided is likely to give him most to think about while any improvement from Dontspoilasale and Paulliac should see them to better effect here.
18:25 – Cailin Cliste
Several of these are closely tied on various formlines. Walking On Clouds has been effective twice over C&D, finishing behind Jupiter Express and Super Cub here last time and there should not be much between them again. The vote goes to CAILIN CLISTE, a winner at the Curragh in April and running off the same mark as when second in a 30-runner contest there last month.

18:55 – Hotrocket
This might not take much winning. If HOTROCKET can back up his Listowel run he should be hard to beat. The slight step back to 7f should be no issue and seeing the champion jockey back on board is a good sign. Solar Breeze is worth another chance and she should give the selection most to think about, while an eye should be kept on newcomer Lady Tanzanite. Raleigh Bridge and Upward Curve complete the shortlist.
19:30 – Ice Cold In Alex
ICE COLD IN ALEX looked to be back to his best at the Curragh last time and this looks a good opportunity to get back to winning ways. Punk Poet is likely to be on the premises again, as is Verhoyen. Is That Love is potentially interesting if overcoming a layoff.

20:00 – Helen De Pourtales
Wide open as expected. The consistent London Palladium is very much respected, as are the likes of recent Cork winner Sondheim and Leopardstown runner-up Castletownshend. The selection is HELEN DE POURTALES, whose unlucky second at Bellewstown last week shows that she is thriving on her busy schedule and she can be rewarded for her consistency here.
20:30 – Golden Days
Possibly the stronger division of the two. Celtic Manor will be a factor on his two Sligo runs while the consistent Cool Leader should run her race. Preference is for GOLDEN DAYS, only up 6lb for a win and a close third at Cork and has been given a chance by the handicapper.
