The Paul Nicholls yard also boast runners at Exeter and Plumpton including odds-on favourite Roman Roy in the Class 4 Racehorse Sanctuary Novices’ Hurdle (12:50) at the latter track.

The all-weather meetings in the evening at Southwell and Wolverhampton round off proceedings.
