Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

RiponRacesJun20a

16:10 Ayr – Quest For Fun (Daily Record, Gary Owen)

QUEST FOR FUN is a lightly raced 4yo who opened his account in Thirsk handicap (6f, good) last month when having second run back from lengthy absence; that form is strong (second/third have won since) and he’s open to further progress; respected up 7lb.

17:05 Worcester – Monty’s Award (The Irish Field, Rory Delargy)

Generally very disappointing since winning over fences in April 2021; MONTY’S AWARD arrested his decline when third in recent C&D hurdle but there are much more persuasive options in this line-up.

17:30 Roscommon – Scarpeta (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)

Once a 148-rated hurdler when with Willie Mullins, winning three times; SCARPETA did most of his running over fences last season and bounced back to form by winning a similar race to this at Clonmel in February; poor run on the Flat before remote third over fences last time; chance has to be taken seriously back at this level.

19:15 Ripon – Sydney Bay (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

Promising third over 6f at Newcastle in November; SYDNEY BAY confirmed that he had started handicap life on a good mark when rattling home having met traffic problems at Redcar two weeks ago (6f, good to firm); encouragement for 1m on breeding and he’s a fascinating contender.
