WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

17:15 – Senecia

A competitive maiden hurdle. It was a promising Rules debut from SENECIA when last seen and with the prospect of him improving for this longer trip, he gets the tentative vote. Gorki D’airy is an obvious danger stepping back up in trip for Willie Mullins and Secret She Keeps might bounce back after a below par run last time.

17:45 – He’s Leading Me On (NAP)

Having been narrowly denied on his last two starts, HE’S LEADING ME ON (nap) should be capable of getting his head in front from a lenient looking handicap mark, despite another 2lb for his latest second. The big danger is Search For A Myth if she handles the drop back in trip. The reserve, Strong Roots, can give another good account if she gets in.

18:15 – Perceval Legallois

This looks like an ideal opportunity for PERCEVAL LEGALLOIS to get off the mark provided he puts in a clear round as he sets a solid standard in this contest. Westcoastinformant could prove best of the rest if he improves again for the step up in trip.

18:45 – Hannon

A tricky beginners’ to unpick but it might be worth taking a chance on HANNON who has been performing at a decent level over hurdles in the last 12 months and he’s worth another go over fences. Chase debutant Visionarian is another to consider given the level he’s run to over timber. Mighty Meggsie and Hybery have both performed with credit over fences already and they can be in the mix again.

19:15 – Everglow

This might be weaker than some of the races that EVERGLOW has run well in and with the prospect of him coming on for his latest placed effort, he can give another good account. The main danger may be Genois if he can see out this longer trip and Sholsang is a live player if the first-time cheekpieces spark a revival. Champagne Gold is open to further improvement and warrants respect as the first-string for Henry de Bromhead.

19:45 – Na Caith Tobac

An open looking race. Though he is up 9lb and in grade, NA CAITH TOBAC has looked a natural in winning both chase starts and can complete the hat-trick. Fest Deiz is better than he showed here last time and can go well, while a big run from Global Equity wouldn’t surprise.

20:15 – Moon Rise Beauty

Cnoc Na Si will be well-fancied but she was very keen last time, so she isn’t a bombproof proposition. A chance is taken on her stablemate, MOON RISE BEAUTY, who wasn’t far behind some quality mares on debut last autumn. Her rider has plenty of international experience. Princess Sophia and Kilbarry Lilac are capable of decent runs.
