13:50 Sandown – Tippy Toes

If you get chance have a look back at Tippy Toes‘ last effort at the Royal meeting behind Latin Lover, she was consistently denied a clear run and did remarkably well in the circumstances to finish as close as she did. She does have a little to find on unofficial ratings but should not be underestimated at double-digit odds. She’s a massive each-way player in the perfect dead eight runner contest.

14:05 Haydock – Double Cherry

Double Cherry was a massive improver last time when gambled on at Goodwood, producing a very good kick in the final furlong to open up and win by a widening three length margin. The handicapper has had his say but there is every reason to expect he can take another step forward and he is more than double the price in the market compared to the red hot favourite Sea King, who will need to settle better on this occasion in a much bigger field if he’s going to continue that winning run.

14:25 Sandown – Ouzo

Ouzo looked really good on the first start for this stable when only beaten a neck over course and distance a couple of runs ago. We can safely put a line through his last effort at the Royal meeting as he was far too keen and fell in a hole. He’s back at the track which clearly suits and will see him in a much better light.

14:40 Haydock – Free Wind

Free Wind looked fantastic last season winning on four of her five appearances and dominating in the Park Hill for a seven lengths romp at the back end of the year. This looks a straight match up between her and Eshaada, who has the benefit of an outing at Newbury. Free Wind has proven ability to go well fresh so we shouldn’t underestimate her on her return.

15:00 Sandown – Heredia

Heredia managed to get herself out of her pocket and make up a huge amount of ground to win at York and then followed up with a fantastic Royal Ascot success despite being drawn on the wrong part of the track. She’s bidding to maintain that 100% record and she has found an ideal opportunity to do so.

15:15 Haydock – Brentford Hope

Brentford Hope looks as if he’s finally going to get his perfect conditions and we will see him for only the second time this season. He has a perfect record at this venue and will have the added bonus of a talented 7lb claimer reducing his weight significantly. Under his best conditions he is a group horse in a handicap.

15:35 Sandown – Native Trail

Native Trail is possibly a little bit unlucky to have lost his unbeaten record at headquarters but made no mistake stepping back into the winner’s enclosure over in Ireland. He wasn’t overly impressive over the mile but hit the line strongly suggesting that this mile and a quarter uphill finish is absolutely tailor made for him. In receipt of the weight for age allowance, the three-year-old can dominate proceedings.
