Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

14:40 Perth – Ash Tree Meadow (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

ASH TREE MEADOW is a point winner in Ireland but kept a relatively low profile over hurdles, sole win at 2m4f. Unconvincing chase debut but was more at ease going right-handed when finding an impressive burst here recently, albeit that his jumping still needed fine tuning and he hung quite badly on the flat. Another step forward needed but he should improve.

16:50 Yarmouth – The Grey Lass (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)

THE GREY LASS is a 3yo who reappeared with a close second off today’s mark at Beverley last Tuesday. It’s a bit of a worry that her form went the wrong way after a promising debut last summer, but she has obvious claims if able to reproduce that recent form.

19:03 Newbury – Lil Guff (Racing Post, Lambourn)

LIL GUFF was a respectable ninth in 5f handicap at Royal Ascot two weeks ago when bidding for a hat-trick, following 6f wins on good/soft. Remains on career-high mark but she’s evidently still in decent form.

19:45 Epsom – Bin Hayyan (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

BIN HAYYAN won a 6f Ayr maiden as 2yo before a low-key return at York but did much better at Beverley last week when penned in on the rail and once he got out the winner sailed past late. Looks ahead of his mark and is 3lb well in here.
