16:35 – All Things Nice (NAP)

Some nice prospects in here but ALL THINGS NICE (nap) is the one to beat. She had several of these in behind when runner-up on debut and with improvement likely for this step up in distance, she ought to go well. Florida Taiga and Starry Heavens are two well bred newcomers that are worth a market check.

17:10 – The Last Swallow

The Pargey Bee can get in to the mix again and Hot Sunset bounced back to form last time but slight preference is for THE LAST SWALLOW. Gavin Cromwell’s filly showed more on handicap debut last time and a 2lb rise should not stop her going well again.

17:45 – Mullacash Buzz

Typically competitive for a handicap of this grade. MULLACASH BUZZ gained a third win for his new yard in April and while he’s not been seen since, a 6lb rise looks lenient from the handicapper. Morning Dew could be involved if she builds on her latest effort and Heer At Dawn might appreciate this drop back in trip.

18:20 – Take My Hand

With some rain forecast, it might be worth taking a chance on TAKE MY HAND who is very well treated on her soft ground form. Alice Milligan seems on a fair revised mark after her recent win but the main danger could be Philly’s Hope who won’t mind a return to one mile.

18:55 – Polar Bear

With three runs under his girth, POLAR BEAR looks best equipped to cope with this tricky circuit and can use his speed to make all from the inside stall. Charming Lady wasn’t far behind the selection on debut and can go well, along with Hilltop’s Bear and Twenty To Three.

19:30 – Tide Of Time

Though TIDE OF TIME hasn’t been at his best in two starts this season, the return to this course could re-ignite the spark and he looks a solid proposition. Shabaaby was a bit unlucky on seasonal debut at Down Royal and is a big danger, while C&D winner Jarvis looks the Lyons’ stable pick.

20:00 – Tronador

This looks tricky. Though he can run in snatches, classy hurdler TRONADOR could be able to get off the mark on the level with Colin Keane aboard. His stablemate Britzka is a danger, while Scalor and Final Orders can go well. Thegooseiscooked needs a market check.

20:30 – Benaud

This looks to be a match between BENAUD and Taipan. The former finished just in front of his main rival in the Queen’s Vase at Ascot last year and, with race-fitness on his side, can confirm the form.
