The one who makes most appeal is PANDORA LOVEGOOD. She got little luck in running on debut at this venue before running a cracker at Limerick last time and should be bang there in a slightly easier assignment. She beat Roman Moon on that occasion who is sure to be on the premises again. Texas Boy is the dark horse. John O’Donoghue’s two-year-olds are in good form and he should be able to build on his debut run. Roman Hands and Who Not What complete the shortlist.

17:40 – Girl Crush
This can go to GIRL CRUSH. She backed up her promising debut with a cracking run at Ballinrobe last week and may prove hard to stop. There’s no doubting Dabana has ability but she’s had chances. Chicago Lightening may also feature, alongside Silk Damask and Miss Abby Jools.
18:10 – Hell Left Loose
The selection is HELL LEFT LOOSE who was very unlucky not to win at Down Royal last time and a repeat bid may be enough to land this. Salt Whistle Bay was good when winning a Limerick claimer but runs off a 13lb higher mark now. Bellick and Talking Tough are others worth keeping on side, as is Coviglia.
18:40 – Eighty Eight
This is very competitive. A tentative selection is EIGHTY EIGHT, who looked very good when beating the subsequent Ulster Derby winner at Gowran last time. He can cope with an 8lb rise. Elmos Fire is sure to be competitive back in handicap company. Herring Island is interesting and Hymn Book Too is another not to discount.
19:10 – Dha Leath
Just a 4lb rise for her Gowran defeat of Saturday’s Curragh winner Bay Of Bengal looks lenient and DHA LEATH could now take her seasonal record to 3-4 with any rain unlikely to trouble her chances. Kojin and Coins Cross could be the ones to follow her home.

An interesting renewal with several lightly-raced and potentially smart performers in opposition. FUMATA was only getting into his stride in the closing stages when winning his maiden but the manner in which he stretched clear close home suggests he could well be up to this level. He gets a speculative vote over Beamish and the established performer at this level Yaxeni.
20:10 – Busselton
A maiden which may not take a lot of winning. BUSSELTON (nap) is the best of these over jumps and on the back of a recent flat outing can take this. The Gossiper and Royal Romeo may prove the main dangers.
