Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

15:00 Southwell – Simply Red (The Sun)

In the hope that cheekpieces keep her focused SIMPLY RED is taken to make amends for her narrow Uttoxeter defeat. Madeeh is next best although money for handicap debutant Beat The Storm would heighten interest in his chance.

16:45 Pontefract – True Mason (Daily Record)

Having regained the winning thread in a competitive field at Doncaster on his debut for Declan Carroll, TRUE MASON could well follow up. He has evidently settled in nicely to his new yard and remains well handicapped on lots of form. Multiple C&D winners Round The Island (second choice) and Mr Orange may prove the main dangers, along with in-form maiden Stalingrad.

18:30 Musselburgh – Doomsday (Daily Telegraph)

Bryan Smart’s DOOMSDAY ran the best race last time and he gives the impression that he’ll stay this longer trip. Thakuri and Without Delay are the dangers.

18:45 Windsor – Jewel In My Crown (Racing Post)

Preference is for Rae Guest’s triple winner JEWEL IN MY CROWN, who didn’t get any luck when runner-up at Sandown last time and is open to more progress. Anythingtoday responded well to new headgear when going close over C&D last month and is a big danger if he can back that up. Another to consider is the lightly raced 3yo Splendent, who won a 1m2f maiden on his final run last year and should have more to offer in handicaps this season.
