SIE TITUS is only having his third start for the new stable and has found himself well positioned up towards the stand rail. He backed up fairly quickly after his first start for the yard and on this occasion they’ve given him a little bit more time to regroup which could prove the key. He looks like he has a bit of wriggle room from a mark of just 86.
BELIEVING looks a stable second string, however, she did incredibly well to win after completely blowing the start at Wolverhampton and fully giving eight lengths away. She’s still green and she can only take a significant step forward. That progression should be enough for her to hit the board at a decent price.
SENSE OF DUTY had a right battle with Flotus at Haydock and that form has been rubberstamped with a solid third place in the Commonwealth Cup behind Perfect Power. That’s the best recent form on offer in this line up and she also has the three-year-old weight allowance. Ainsdale could also outrun his odds.
UNIVERSAL ORDER managed to win this back in 2020 and after a very long absence has come back in sparkling form with an unlucky second last time when carrying a huge weight in a big handicap at Haydock. That would’ve put him spot-on for this and his usual hold-up tactics should work perfectly in this small field so his rider Callum Shepherd can produce him fast and late.
EVALUATION has been nothing short of spectacular for the new stable and he’s going for the five timer, admittedly from a much higher perch in the handicap, but who knows where he can end up as he is looking like a possible pattern race performer. He certainly has the pedigree and I do feel that both this contest and the big one itself will be won by the top weight.
LANEQASH sits at the top from a ratings perspective and is off the back of a very good reappearance effort when just outpointed by the re-opposing Pogo. Do keep an eye on the weather as he isn’t very good on slower than good conditions. If given quick ground and a strong gallop, he can prove too good for this lot.

TRUESHAN has been kept off the racecourse because the rain hasn’t arrived and he turns out for another crack at this contest after a fair effort last season. He’s an improved model this time round and there’s no getting away that he goes particularly well for this pilot Hollie Doyle as well. It’s a big ask under a big weight but he’s a big boy who can handle all that’s thrown at him.

WESTOVER was unlucky in the Derby and with a clear run he surely would’ve gone very close. They have a switch in rider for the local champion Colin Keane too. He did get a little warm in the preliminaries at Epsom so keep a close eye on him in the build up but surely he’s going to prove too good and can gallop these into submission.
