Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

13:00 Doncaster – Hail Sezer (The Irish Field, Rory Delargy)

Progressive last year; HAIL SEZER finished a creditable third on reappearance but only fifth in first-time cheekpieces on latest start at Thirsk (6f, good), albeit racing away from the main action; headgear left off this time and no surprise to see him involved if ground rides fast.

15:05 Cartmel – Rapid Flight (East Anglian Daily Time, Dean Kilbryde)

RAPID FLIGHT has quickly made into an effective performer around his new local track, failing by just a nose to make it two 2m5f handicap wins inside four days at the Whitsun meeting; giving weight all round under the penalty, however, and yet to convince fully over 2m7f and beyond.

19:10 Newcastle – Potapova (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

Reluctant to race on final 2yo outing and started slowly on both this season, with her blindfold removed late on latest; POTAPOVA still managed to finish second in a Listed event at Kempton (won her only other AW start) and Group 3 at Epsom in those last two races, however, both over about 1m; not certain to stay 1m2f but should be very seriously involved if she does.

20:28 Curragh – Foveros (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)

Dual Flat scorer alongside his three hurdle wins; FOVEROS scooted away with a handicap at this venue last May before finishing second in a Premier Handicap at the Galway festival; failed to feature in Cesarewitch at Newmarket and hasn’t been seen since; remains on same mark and has won fresh before; not one to discount but he may want it softer.
