Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

15:15 Beverley – Freak Out (Wolverhampton Express & Star)

A chance is taken with FREAK OUT who shaped encouragingly on his reappearance in a race that has worked out well only to perform moderately in a big field at York next time. He needs to bounce back but his stable could hardly be in better form. The penalised Myristica is the obvious alternative, with veteran Billy Roberts third choice.

15:30 Brighton – Smokey Malone (Racing Post)

Junoesque beat SMOKEY MALONE narrowly over 1m2f here in April and both have continued in good heart. It may be asking for trouble given Junoesque’s fantastic record at Brighton but the revised weights and trip could enable Smokey Malone to turn the tables. Cherry Cola and Be Fair are next on the list.

17:10 Newton Abbot – Mascat (Irish Herald)

This may go the way of MASCAT, who has been running to a decent level on the Flat for his new yard and should continue the good work back over jumps. Samba Dancer is feared most on this return to hurdling, with Birds Of Prey and Ayr Of Elegance also in the mix.

19:10 Newbury – Zain Nights (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

C&D winners Grand Scheme and Frontispiece (second choice) are unlikely to be far away but the candidate with the most potential is ZAIN NIGHTS. The Charltons’ 3yo receives plenty of weight all round, should be suited by today’s extra yardage and is partnered by the promising Harry Davies for the first time.
