I feel that Crypto Force is the value pick. Alfred Munnings was very impressive on his debut beating Segomo but Crypto Force beat him by a bigger distance at the Curragh. Alfred Munnings has to be respected but Crypto Force is a decent each-way play.
I’m going with Hello You, who has been forgotten about a bit. The only issue is that she’s got a penalty to carry. You can write off her Guineas run and she’ll really like getting back on quick ground over 7f. I can see her hitting the frame.
Hurricane Lane isn’t worth getting behind at his price, especially considering we haven’t seen him yet this season. You also don’t know how a horse trains on from three years old to four years old until you’ve seen them. He should be fine but there’s a doubt. I’ve landed on Away He Goes at a massive price. He didn’t win last season but he ran a lot of very good races. He’s got the same question marks as Hurricane Lane, however, you’re getting a massive price instead. He’s worth a small punt.
Creative Force is high on my shortlist as he’s drawn in stall one, which could be key. The other one I’m interested in is Highfield Princess for John Quinn. She’s improved massively and she was very impressive at York last time out. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her win.

I was keen on Rohaan but not at his current price as he’s been heavily backed. He loves the track. I like Summerghand‘s chances for David O’Meara. He bounced back to form at York last time out without his usual visor. His record when having headgear applied and reapplied is two wins from two – and he’s got his visor back on here. He’ll run really well. The other one to keep an eye on is Apollo One. He’s drawn on the wrong side of the track in stall 22, which is the only concern. He’s well handicapped and he’s got Benoit de la Sayette taking 5lbs off his back. He needs a little luck but he has a chance.
In terms of form, the interesting horse is Honiton, who won at Sandown last time out on good to firm ground. His previous run was pretty good as well where he finished third at Newcastle behind Eldar Eldarov. A lot could depend on Frankie Dettori’s confidence after this week!
Falcon Eight has to be respected after finishing fifth in the Chester Cup and he’ll go off second favourite behind Wordsworth when Trueshan pulls out. I like Single at a big price. She might not win but she can definitely hit the frame. She’s a bit one paced and she struggles to win races. However, she plugs on well and could be worth a punt.
