Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

16:20 Campanelle (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

CAMPANELLE is 2-2 at Royal Ascot, winning the Queen Mary in 2020 and awarded the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup last year. Reappeared with a comfortable Listed win at Keeneland in April and this US challenger is in calculations given her record at the meeting.

17:00 Silver Samurai (Racing Post, RP Ratings)

SILVER SAMURAI as won over 1m but is settling in as a sprinter now, getting his eye in when third over C&D in May in his first 6f turf handicap but much better form when winning at Newbury and Haydock since. Impressive in the latter and a repeat would make him very interesting despite the penalty and rise in class.

17:35 Missed The Cut (Daily Telegraph, Marlborough)

MISSED THE CUT was fourth at Newmarket in April on debut. Improved when hugely on top at 4-7 in a maiden at Pontefract and novice at Salisbury. The form has been boosted and he surely has more to give, so he is one of many who need to be taken seriously.

18:10 Falcon Eight (Daily Mirror, Newsboy)

FALCON EIGHT won last year’s Chester Cup on good to soft ground but anything softer spells danger, as he showed when a disappointing favourite in this race 12 months ago. Put up a decent defence of his Chester crown last month but that form would fall short of the standard required to win this and he was fit from hurdling, so it would be unwise to bank on any physical improvement.
