Royal Ascot 2.30pm – Meditate
I’m on MEDITATE for Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien. She won well on her last start at Naas and she impressed at the Curragh before that. The ground should suit too. The fact they’ve left Statuette at home shows they fancy Meditate.
Royal Ascot 3.05pm – Ehraz
I like EHRAZ. I thought he was unlucky at Newbury in the Carnarvon Stakes when finishing second behind Tiber Flow. He’s an improving horse and he won at the meeting last year.

Royal Ascot 4.20pm – Mangoustine
You’ve got the English Guineas winner Cachet alongside Inspiral, who looked incredible last season. At the prices and considering that Inspiral hasn’t had a run, I’m willing to take her on. I’ve landed on the French filly MANGOUSTINE, who beat Cachet on her last start. The French don’t tend to travel unless they’re confident of winning.
Royal Ascot 5pm – Persist
I like the look of PERSIST. I loved her last start where she won at Ripon. Cieren Fallon rides for William Haggas which is a solid booking.

Royal Ascot 5.35pm – Ottoman Fleet
I’m on OTTOMAN FLEET for William Buick and Charlie Appleby. He battled to win at Newmarket last time out and going up in trip will suit him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes off the favourite.
Royal Ascot 6.10pm – Ladies Church
I fancy John Murtagh’s LADIES CHURCH. I liked her on her last start at Cork, where she finished second. I don’t know too much else about this race so she’ll do me!
