Royal Ascot 2.30pm – Queen Olly
QUEEN OLLY looked really good when winning on her racecourse debut at York and was always travelling very smoothly before readily putting the race to bed. She’s one of a handful of entries that the trainer David Loughnane had for this particular contest and looks his banker runner of the meeting.
Royal Ascot 3.05pm – Ehraz
EHRAZ has been stepping up nicely with each start so far this term including over course and distance on his return to action. He then flashed home from way back at Newbury last time out. Admittedly, he has a little to find on official ratings, however, he appears to be drawn on the right part of the track and comes in with the team in red-hot form.

Royal Ascot 3.40pm – Cap Francais (each-way)
CAP FRANCAIS is a one-time Derby contender who has been brought back to the boil nicely on a limited few tries for the new stable. He was a touch unlucky at Chester two starts back and possibly was not suited by the track at Epsom last time. He’s going to be flying under the radar with a step up and distance likely to suit.
Royal Ascot 4.20pm – Inspiral
This is the eagerly anticipated return to action from last season’s unbeaten champion juvenile lady INSPIRAL. It is a tough start, but she was so far superior last season that she may well have the class to cope with that absence and still come out on top.

Royal Ascot 5pm – Persist
Let’s hope the jockey Cieren Fallon has a change of luck as he had a nightmare passage earlier on in the week in the St James’ Palace Stakes. PERSIST had an awful lot of ground to make up on a front runners track at Ripon last time but did so comprehensively and looks well ahead of where she sits in the handicap at the moment, and 83 underestimates her.
Royal Ascot 5.35pm – Lysander
LYSTANDER was only beaten by a runner who is now as short as 12/1 for the Irish Derby last time 28 days ago and looks the clear main danger to the red-hot favourite coming over from Ireland Changingoftheguard.
He’s had less racing so has more room for natural improvement and looks to give the Haggas team another winner at the Royal meeting.
Royal Ascot 6.10pm – Nymphadora
NYMPHADORA put up a really good performance behind a runaway winner at Chester last time despite not being her ideal conditions. The added bonus of her rider Harry Davies taking off a valuable 5lbs should bring her right into the equation.
