KIT GABRIEL has a solid record in three handicaps, including 2yo success at Pontefract (wore cheekpieces); creditable fifth at Ascot (6f) on reappearance and that competitive race has thrown up several winners since; still open to further improvement and looks very interesting off 1lb lower in reapplied headgear.

20:20 Nottingham – Cherry Cola (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)

CHERRY COLA was on the same mark when running out a clearcut winner of this 12 months ago and Rose Dawes, armed with a 7lb claim, now takes over for the first time; undeniably well treated and her latest fifth here was a close one.
