So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.
15:40 York – Ingra Tor (On The Nose, Expert Eye)
INGRA TOR is out of smart sprinter for the yard and heading the same way himself, having shown useful AW form before impressing at Newmarket in April (6f, good). Up 9lb but has potential and fast ground and a sharp track should not hold him back.
16:25 Limerick – Blackcastle Storm (Sheffield Star, Fortunatus)
BLACKCASTLE STORM’s sole win came on Fibresand at Southwell over two years ago. Did look a bit regressive at back end of last season and entitled to need this returning from 241 days off.
16:30 Chester – Indian Creak (Racing Post, RP Ratings)
INDIAN CREAK’s last success was at Windsor (6f, good) 13 months ago but he’s been knocking on the door on turf in his last three starts. Travelled well for a long way when runner-up at Goodwood last Sunday and he’s a major player again off same mark here.
19:15 Leicester – Watermelon Sugar (Racing Post, Lambourn)
WATERMELON SUGAR’s four wins include two sellers and he may have been softened up by the eventual fifth when making heavy weather of what looked a straightforward task in the latest at Thirsk (6f, good). Has more on his plate here but an obvious contender.
