16:55 – Mc’Ted
A case can be made for most of these. MC’TED reappeared with a narrow win at Yarmouth a fortnight ago and this lightly raced 4yo is taken to go in again now just 1lb higher. Smart Connection has a progressive profile and is next on the list, ahead of Arch Moon.

17:25 – Let’s Have A Flyer
Secret Mistral won at 50-1 over C&D on her second start and sets a fair standard under a 3lb penalty, while Coral Reef, Dark Desire and Transfer Affection are all interesting newcomers. However, this could go LET’S HAVE A FLYER who was a promising fifth on his debut at Chester in a race that has worked out well. Coral Reef is second choice ahead of Transfer Affection.
17:55 – Fox Hill (NAP)
This revolves around whether FOX HILL (nap) can confirm the revival shown when winning by three lengths in a first-time visor at Nottingham last Wednesday. She’s well treated under a 5lb penalty and will be tough to beat if repeating that form. Good Luck Fox could be best of the rest and complete a Fox forecast on his first start since wind surgery. Albegone and Burj Malinka arrive in good form.
18:25 – Queen Of Deauville
The filly QUEEN OF DEAUVILLE impressed with the way she got the job done against males on last month’s debut at Carlisle, and she’s taken to defy a 7lb penalty. Snuggle could be a big improver on this second start, however, and Acton Bell and Tanzanite are others who could take sizeable steps forward.
18:55 – Mr Beaufort
With a clear run MR BEAUFORT may well have finished better than fourth on last month’s handicap debut at Goodwood and he earns the vote ahead of Gabriella’s Spirit, who ran much better in a first-time hood at Doncaster last time. The unexposed Proclivity is respected along with recent Salisbury runner-up So Smart.

19:25 – Lightening Company
The lightly raced 4yo LIGHTENING COMPANY has a progressive profile and, having had to wait for a run, did well to finish fifth in a more competitive handicap than this at York last month. The recent rain may have benefited Stately Home and he’s second choice ahead of Fame And Acclaim.
19:55 – Chips And Rice
Aryaah has achieved clearly the most among these in handicaps but there is plenty of promise among the opposition, many of which are apparently less exposed. Purple Ice and Drill To Dream found just one too good for them on their handicap debuts last time and hopes for them are boosted by this longer trip. 1m2f could also, however, help to prompt much more potent displays from CHIPS AND RICE and Just A Tad who go handicapping for the first time and they top the list.
