The vote, however, goes to HOLOCENE who seems likely to step up from her successful Ripon debut and is bred to handle this different surface. Of those with more experience, Lizzie Jean looks the pick.

Four of these met over C&D last month with Rainbow Mirage first, CAMACHESS second, Joy Choi fourth and Liberty Bay sixth. Camachess may come out on top this time as she enjoys a 10lb pull with the winner for a beating of less than 2l and is back off her last winning mark. Rainbow Mirage still rates the main danger, though.

Latin Lover is a solid contender on his 6f turf form now switched to the AW but there are several interesting runners who are anything but exposed. C&D novice winner KING OF JUNGLE won in straightforward fashion at Nottingham last time and should have more to offer, while Willoughby Bay on her reappearance for an in-form yard and Artaois down in trip are others for whom 6f could be their oyster.
19:30 Biggles (NAP)
While BIGGLES (nap) is not a particularly flash finisher he tends to look better the nearer he gets to the line and he can bring up the hat-trick after beating a subsequent big Epsom winner over C&D on his reappearance. Secret Moment is a danger but this will be his first course run and the visor is left off so a bigger threat could be Ivasecret, who never got into the action behind Biggles three weeks ago but is capable of a better showing.

Although his 2021 campaign fizzled out MR ZEE returned in better form at Leicester and he should give it a good shot with Harry Davies taking off 5lb. Lucky Draw did well when ridden patiently here three weeks ago and looks the main danger ahead of Bella Colorossa.
20:30 Charlie’s Yard
All Yours, back to form on turf recently and well treated under a penalty, and recent Lingfield winner Smith are respected but CHARLIE’S YARD is taken to bring up the hat-trick for his new yard after winning here and at Bath.
