13:10 Oh It’s Saucepot
OH IT’S SAUCEPOT is on a losing run stretching back to September 2019, but she is starting to look dangerously well handicapped judged on the pick of her form. She should be back to full fitness after two starts this term and the longer trip here will be in her favour. In a wide-open contest despite the small field, she is worth another chance to finally regain the winning thread.

13:45 Time Lock
TIME LOCK looked an exciting prospect when easily winning a novice event at Newmarket last time, hitting the front over two furlongs and quickly powering clear from there to land the spoils by six and a half lengths. There should be lots more to come from her and she is fancied to defy a penalty to follow up here before going on to bigger and better things.
14:20 Changing Colours
CHANGING COLOURS showed plenty of ability when filling the runner-up spot on his debut at Yarmouth three weeks ago, staying on well to be beaten just a neck. That form sets the standard in this line-up and the way he shaped there suggests he will improve with the experience under his belt. He couldn’t be in better hands and this looks an excellent opportunity for him to open his account at the second attempt.

14:55 Courageous Knight
COURAGEOUS KNIGHT is bred for longer trips and duly looked short of speed when making his debut in a six-furlong maiden at Nottingham three weeks ago, ultimately passing the post around three lengths behind the winner. That was still an encouraging start to his career and the step up to seven furlongs here is likely to unlock some improvement. In a field made up mostly of newcomers, Courageous Knight is fancied to put his experience to good use to get off the mark.
15:30 Queen Aminatu
QUEEN AMINATU has won her last two starts with plenty in hand, registering her first success at Wolverhampton in March and then defying a BHA mark of 75 to follow up on her handicap debut at Lingfield in April. She is clearly a fast-improving filly and there is no reason why she shouldn’t prove just as effective on turf. Trained by William Haggas, who has a 23% strike rate at Haydock in recent years, Queen Aminatu can make light of a 7 lb rise in the weights to complete the hat-trick.

16:05 Reel Rosie
REEL ROSIE produced a career-best effort to double her career tally at Newmarket last month, digging deep under pressure to win by four lengths in comfortable fashion. This will be tougher again from a 9 lb higher mark, but she is clearly going the right way and meaningful opposition is thin on the ground here. Ed Bethell has his team in top form and Reel Rosie seems sure to go well again in her follow-up bid.
16:40 Pride Of America
PRIDE OF AMERICA was totally dominant when resuming winning ways at Chester five weeks ago, making all to land the spoils by five and a half lengths. That was his second success from just three starts for Amy Murphy (formerly trained by Harry Dunlop) and he could have things his own way again here with no obvious competition for the lead in this small field. He is clearly thriving for his new yard and a third win could be on the cards despite a 9 lb hike in the weights.
