WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
17:05 – Silmaniya
Jessica Harrington won this last year and it won’t be a surprise if she does so again with Ardad’s Great, but SILMANIYA is marginally preferred. It was a pretty hot maiden this one was third in on debut and she showed more than enough to suggest she would be off the mark sooner rather than later. Tir Tairngire is interesting with Colin Keane booked, considering the stable are in fine form and saddled a recent 2yo winner, whilst Excelia should also go well.
17:40 – Vivaia
Far from vintage stuff but if the first-time blinkers do the trick, VIVAIA could well be the solution. This would appear to be one of her better trips and the stable’s runners are always dangerous when the headgear is applied. Baby Rosabella suffered a near-miss at Tipperary and will be popular on the back of that, whilst De Velara, / Cavallo Pazzo and Gobi Star are others to strongly consider.
18:10 – Amazing Emma
Twice second behind an improving filly at Navan, AMAZING EMMA has reasonable prospects of going one better. Colin Keane, who rode Liam McAteer’s filly on both occasions, is now committed to Blind Beggar whose record in terms of beaten favouritism is a negative. Collective Power and No Speed Limit were not far off the selection at Navan and can be rated place possibilities.

18:40 – Geocentric
The hood could well bring about a bit better from Gustavus Weston. With a rating of 109, he is entitled to be in the thick of the action in any case, and with bags of early pace on here, the race could be run to suit, but GEOCENTRIC looks the most obvious one. The pick of Ger Lyons’ two runners, she has fired two warning signs this season, and if she gets away without being pestered for the lead, she could be difficult to peg back. Prettiest must also be respected.
19:10 – Thunder Kiss
Back on home territory THUNDER KISS, who had Forbearance behind when third in a Group 2 event at York last month, looks set to regain the winning thread. She may be given most to do by Rosscarbery, who is improving at a rapid rate, and Lily Pond, a lightly-raced Ballydoyle filly who held her own in Pattern company on only her second start.

19:40 – Dance With Stars
Hugh Horgan’s 7lb claim could help three-time Dundalk winner DANCES WITH STARS to uphold Leopardstown form with Safecracker who rates a big threat on his subsequent Curragh second. Port Sunlight and Team Of Firsts may also be involved in the finish.
20:10 – Golden Days (NAP)
This could boil down to a rematch of a recent C&D rivalry. GOLDEN DAYS (nap), up 4lb for her win, may again get the better of Pallasmore Lass who has since recorded another second placing here and has gone up an aggregate 5lb as a result. The pair also renew rivalry with Tastyee who deserves respect. Heledd is worth considering as a possible dark horse.
