MR BIG STUFF didn’t get the clearest of runs at Newbury on his last start but it was still a pretty good run. He went up 1lb in the handicap but 5lb claimer Tyler Heard brings his weight down to 8st. He’s short enough in the betting but could definitely be a lot higher in the handicap having looked unlucky on his last start.

The value could be Technique if you’re looking for one each-way but I think POTAPOVA is the most likely winner of the Cheveley Park horses. She flew home at Kempton on her last start and just failed to catch Roman Mist. It was an eye-catching performance.

I’m going to go against Modern News with MUTASAABEQ. I thought he came home really well at Sandown last time out. I liked the way he went to the line and he got in front of Alcohol Free on that occasion.
15:45 – Stone Of Destiny/King Of Stars
I’m going to go for two here as it’s a 20-runner sprint handicap. STONE OF DESTINY was unlucky last year as he got caught in traffic from 3f before he came flying home. He’s in a very high draw in 18. The other one I’m going to go with is KING OF STARS. He had a nice comeback run at Haydock and is drawn in Stall 20. He’s very fast and will blitz down under the stand rail.

Epsom Derby
This is a guessers race. If you’re looking at the trials, there’s nothing that’s run out of the Dante so how do you contextualise that form? I was half thinking of coming down on the side of Changingoftheguard but I’ll go with STONE AGE as he got to the line well at Leopardstown. I’m a Derby fan and would gladly watch this for the spectacle of a horse race.
