17:05 – Foniska
So many regally-bred newcomers here and this looks potentially an exciting contest. La Dolce Vita has some useful form but may not be able to hold off the debutantes. Ballydoyle newcomer Unless, Joseph O’Brien’s pair Thornbrook and Madly Truly, as well as the Murtagh newcomer Sheyya are all of interest. It may be worth siding though with the Harrington newcomer FONISKA, a daughter of Galileo and the stable’s fine middle-distance filly Bocca Baciata.

17:40 – Dark Note
Some interesting ones here. C&D winner Rosie Rock will appreciate being back on a sound surface, while Craic At Dawn is potentially very interesting off this mark. The vote goes to Irish Derby entry DARK NOTE who could well be a different proposition over this trip after failing to get home at Sligo.
18:15 – Patrick Sarsfield
A weak enough Group 3 with none of them coming here in particularly good form. Cadillac could be well suited by this trip and would be hard to beat at his best. Preference is for C&D winner PATRICK SARSFIELD who stepped up a little in the Amethyst here last month and could be ready to go in again.

18:50 – Jungle Cove
Jessica Harrington has opted to retain the partnership between Scott McCullagh and JUNGLE COVE after two good runs at this venue. It would be a mistake to view him as the second-string, and the rider’s claim will help in a likely battle with Naas winner Hale Bopp. River Derwent who ran below expectations at Naas, could be in the mix now along with Curragh scorer Chicago Bear.
19:20 – Boundless Ocean
An intriguing contest. Cairde Go Deo has a chance to show her real credentials here and Cork maiden winner Martinstown is unlikely to be far away. Preference is for BOUNDLESS OCEAN (nap) after his unlucky effort in the Gallinule Stakes last time. He looks very much of Group race quality.
19:50 – Startedwithakiss
The step up to 1m4f suited STARTEDWITHAKISS when she trounced a smart bumper mare at Roscommon. She looks like a progressive filly. Buckman Tavern, a C&D winner last year, can be fancied to reverse this season’s Navan form with Magnetic North and rates a likely danger. Fascinating Shadow is an improving horse, while Gibraltar reverts from hurdling with a definite chance.

20:20 – Rock Of Candy
The form of the Gowran second achieved by ROCK Of CANDY was given a good boost by the winner Urban Oasis when completing a hat-trick at Cork. Steps In The Sand and I Have A Voice have place possibilities on Roscommon form. Lost is the enigma of the race. Something has gone badly wrong on her last two starts, but Ryan Moore does not often ride a 59-rated filly for Ballydoyle.
