17:55 – Way To Amarillo

Full Prime showed enough on debut to think she could be a force over 6f and she should go well. There are some interesting newcomers on show, however, and Palm Lily and WAY TO AMARILLO could be the pair to focus on. The latter, who represents a stable whose 2yos have been going well this season, is marginally preferred.

18:25 – Must Be Royale

Four-time course winner Crystal Casque (second choice) has to be of interest from the inside stall on the back of her Salisbury win, while Light Lily, Angel Amadea and Follow Your Heart can make their presence felt. However, MUST BE ROYALE might be the answer after such a positive handicap debut and, although drawn in 11, there should be plenty of pace on here.

18:55 – Audience

It is a testament to his talent that AUDIENCE was so competitive in a useful conditions race at Newmarket last time after getting no cover, and he’ll take a bit of beating. One formline through his conqueror there suggests Mount Athos might give him a race. Saeed Bin Suroor won a division of this 12 months ago and the 2019 renewal, so his Monaadah and Smart Start command respect, particularly the first-named.

19:30 – Skittlebombz

Zameka has to bounce back from a lesser run at Ascot but he should be winning races off this sort of mark and he’s dangerous back on AW. Botanist is better than he showed last time and can go well but SKITTLEBOMBZ didn’t get chance to show what he could do at Wolverhampton last time when running into plenty of traffic in the straight. He is unexposed at this trip and could well have more to come.

20:00 – Kings Joy

Ribbon Rose (second choice) didn’t give her running in the Nell Gwyn on her return but she had won her first two starts in the manner of a promising filly and she should give a good account. Morgan Fairy also brings untapped potential but the really interesting one is KINGS JOY. The two horses to beat her at Ascot now both boast a BHA rating of 100, while the third ran to an RPR of 104 on her latest start, so an opening mark of 85 could seriously underestimate that form. She was keen at Ascot but a first-time hood could help in that department.

20:30 – Hasty Sailor

Lower Street’s improvement may not have finished just yet and she is feared, while the long-absent Dubai Welcome has the ability if ready to roll. HASTY SAILOR has a fine record in AW handicaps though and he can take a step forward after a promising return to action.

21:00 – Murau

Caldwell (second choice) was impressive over C&D in April when having three of today’s rivals behind him and he ran with credit in a better race at York last time. He is greatly respected, but MURAU (nap) has improved with each of his five starts and his pedigree offers plenty of encouragement that this trip will see him in an even better light. Tigerten and recent hurdle winner Yauthym also have something to recommend them.
