All five runners have something to recommend them on paper but with no form to go on, it is to be hoped the betting provides some clues. Clearpoint and Hernan Cortes look likely types but LUDO’S LANDING gets the tentative vote.
17:25 – Lilikoi
Not many of these come here in much form. Cosa Sara (second choice) could revive back on a sound surface, while Tiger Touch should come good at some point and Caballero looks set to go well once more. LILIKOI ran a bit better than the bare result over 7f here last time though and she could be the answer back up in distance.

Grand Canal (NB) gave a more positive sign again for his new stable last time out and Bouncing Bobby broke his duck in style over C&D on his latest outing. However, RED FORCE ONE is well down the weights, finished on the heels of the winner ten days ago and went even better from the front at Catterick on Saturday.
18:30 – Cathayensis
This looks competitive, with plenty of recent recommendations and some encouragement for others who are stepping up in trip. Preference is for CATHAYENSIS, whose comprehensive Haydock win last Thursday followed AW wins in March. Chinese Spirit also races unpenalised following his win on Friday but Graces Quest (won well three weeks ago) and Royal Countess (nearly back to her best last time) may be greater dangers, in that order.

19:00 – Tilsitt
This could be very tight but Arctic Emperor is likely to put up a bold show from the front and TILSITT might grab him in the closing stages. Tommy G and Gweedore are also very prominent in calculations.

Impressor shouldn’t be fazed by the return to 5f and can make another bold bid, while Lady Celia (second choice) ought to leave her reappearance behind her and lurks on a dangerous mark. RORY (nap) is unpenalised for last week’s Hamilton success though and he can follow up and gain a second C&D win.
20:05 – Yaaser
This looks less competitive than some of the other handicaps on this card and YAASER probably has a good chance to complete the double, now that he’s finally regained competitiveness since his arrival from France. Heights Of Aran, back down in trip, is feared most ahead of AW winner Novak and the two O’Meara runners Liangel Hope and Jumhoor.
