The winners should have this to themselves. PRAIRIE DANCER, who would have to concede 6lb to Rebel Step in a handicap, arguably holds slightly stronger credentials than Douglas Dc though there may not be much in it.
18:20 – Nodoubtaboutthat
Likely to be better for a first run of the year at Fairyhouse, NODOUBTABOUTTHAT may prove best with the help of Jack Foley’s 5lb claim. Gjoumi and Hidden Land are worthy top weights in this grade and capable of going close.
18:50 – Our Dylan
Pat Fahy’s runner OUR DYLAN was making his handicap debut when second at Clonmel and is less exposed than most of these rivals. If Romella returns from her break in prime shape she may be able to sustain the improvement shown last season. Peace Party, second here last time, could reach the money again. Ed The Red has run well when fresh in the past.
19:20 – Lady Llerom
The Shane Nolan-trained mare LADY L’LEROM is struggling to pop her head in front, but not for the first time, she more than hinted her time is on the horizon when hitting the crossbar on her latest start at Punchestown (clear of the third), and a repeat of that level of form could well do the trick here. Glenabo Bridge and Karla Martina could be the main stumbling blocks.

19:50 – Its Time Again
Arrycan has tried hard lately to expolit his much more lenient mark hurdling that his rating over fences, and he can be expected to do so sooner rather than later, but IT’S TIME AGAIN was most impressive when winning over C&D latest, and a 9lb rise does not look overly harsh. She can go in again. Katlaur, Rightful Mind and Eddies Pride are other possibilities.
20:25 – Aime Desjy
It was a Willie Mullins-trained warm order that denied Blossom De Mai on debut and it could well be another of the champion trainer’s charges that keeps the latter at bay here, courtesy of the French import AIME DESJY. The latter has not run for some time but showed good promise on his sole start in a Listed hurdle in France and, as a 7yo, connections can be expected to be pretty keen to crack on at this stage.
