DRAGON SYMBOL is well clear on the official ratings, and if he doesn’t turn up here, there has to be a question mark about whether he will win again. Has to be better than his return run where he showed absolutely nothing 17 days ago.
STAR OF LADY M was going through the gears very nicely and looked pretty decent when winning at Ripon in a good time. This filly is much better than her last start at Chester and will be given a chance early to finish off this time. The yard’s two year olds are also in great form.
MAHRAJAAN impressed with each and every start last year winning at Leicester, Ripon and Hamilton and travelling the best at York over a quarter of a mile further but just failed to last out. This is an ideal starting point in 2022 for his redhot stable and he can get back on the winning thread.
WOBWOBWOB looks to have been found an ideal opportunity, with the likely front runners Percys Lad and I’m A Gambler drawn next to each other, so it should set up nicely for him. He is off the back of a really big effort at York in a big field, and he can be ridden a touch more patiently. Ryan Sexton is chasing hard for the apprentice championship.

Looks the wrong price in the market for me, with LADY HAYES having been at this racecourse on two occasions, winning easily and putting up a smart performance when second in the Lancashire Oaks behind Alpinista. She chased home an improver at Goodwood last time and comes in at the top of her game.
JM JUNGLE was value for more than the short head winning margin up at Hamilton last time, and the form is backed up by a decent time on the clock as well. He was travelling very well, and just had to wait for a little bit of daylight to extend powerfully up to the line. He can be smuggled up in behind from his rails, draw position, and be produced late.

Although very lightly raced of late, there is no doubting LANEQASH has a huge amount of ability, and this long sprint distance looks ideal for him. Gelded over the winter to get some added focus, he can be relied upon to run a big race as his record when fresh is decent. Pogo looks the pacing here, so he should get a perfect draft into a challenging position.
Popped up at a massive price at Kempton, and a little look back at PENSIERO D’AMORE‘s back class showed a proven group performer back in Italy. He wasn’t given a hard time once his winning opportunity had gone at headquarters and was short of room at the vital stage. He’s flying under the radar at double-digit odds.
