And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

15:20 Hamilton – Arrange (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

ARRANGE has finished second on five of her six starts, carrying head awkwardly and wandering when left well behind final 1f at Wetherby (1m6f, good) on latest. Despite this she should go close again against this lot.

15:40 Beverley – Space Tracker (Racing Post, Lambourn)

SPACE TRACKER was a 52,000gns yearling. Made a winning debut at Lingfield (AW) last month and the runner-up and fifth have both won since. Not out of it if as effective on turf (half-brother won on AW and turf).

16:55 Hamilton – Simply Sondheim (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

SIMPLY SONDHEIM was never sighted in three AW runs early in year, seventh of 12 at Kempton on latest. Hard to fancy on form but there’s some quality in his pedigree and he’s been gelded since he last ran nearly three months ago. Starts his handicap career off a modest mark and respected if strong in the market.

17:20 Beverley – Otto Oyl (Racing Post, RP Ratings)

OTTO OYL recorded a clearcut success under Rhona Pindar in apprentice event at Ayr (1m, soft) last week, taking record this term to 2-4. Escapes a penalty and rider can now use her 7lb claim and has a great chance of following up.
