This can go to DO IT FOR THY SEN (nap), who is only 2lb higher than when winning this race comfortably by 8l a year ago and posted a sound effort when second at Chepstow last month. Diamond Rose has made the frame here twice this spring and is second choice.

Stratagem ought to find this race a bit easier than his latest assignment at Cheltenham but his stamina is unproven beyond 2m4f and slight preference is for DEBECE, who easily beat his only opponent at Warwick on Wednesday. Glen Forsa will be very dangerous if he warms to the task today, but has become far too inconsistent to trust.
14:02 – Mrs Grimley
Nicky Henderson’s Roccstar Bay could be anything but it’s always unnerving to see headgear on a newcomer. MRS GRIMLEY showed more than enough on her last two starts in Ireland to suggest she can win a run-of-the-mill bumper such as this, and she gets the vote. Sorceress Medea took a big step forward when second over C&D last month and should also feature.
14:32 – Money Spinner
Balkotic came good over hurdles at Sedgefield three weeks ago and may be able to build on that success but MONEY SPINNER is now 2lb lower than when third in his first two handicaps, and his respectable fifth at Warwick this month came in a much more competitive race than this. He might be the answer.

Jack’s A Legend has slipped to a dangerous mark and will be greatly feared if strong in the betting but the most obvious answer is RED MAPLE, who gained a convincing win when dropped back to 2m at Worcester this month and has plenty of scope for further improvement. Jack Yeats has cheekpieces refitted here and is also of interest.
15:32 – Une De La Seniere
She reverts to hurdling with something to prove but UNE DE LA SENIERE is worth chancing. Chasing evidently wasn’t her bag last season but she won a stronger hurdle race than this in good style in the autumn and is now 1lb below that mark. Heure De Gloire won under a very aggressive front-running ride at Ffos Las two months ago and could be hard to catch if the blinkers continue to have a positive effect.

16:02 – Duke Of Rockingham
Apart from his last-flight error, dual bumper winner Tiger Orchid put together a much more convincing round of jumping when second at Huntingdon this month. He can probably improve again if all goes to plan here but DUKE OF ROCKINGHAM made a good start to his hurdling career last season and, with today’s step up in trip likely to suit, he gets the nod in the hope he can bounce back from a below-par run on soft ground in February.
