Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

13:40 Wolverhampton – Zero Carbon (Sporting Life)

Half the field need today’s run for a handicap rating and the market should help sort things out. How Much Further looks the pick of the newcomers on paper, with The Green Man and ZERO CARBON, who’s preferred after a solid debut last month, setting the standard he’s gunning for. Lady Madonna is another to keep an eye on.

14:20 Leicester – Aryaah (Daily Record)

Clive Cox’s hat-trick seeker Midnight Train is strongly respected but preference is for another progressive gelding in ARYAAH, who went close over C&D last Monday and is on the same mark on this drop back in grade. Benjamin Bear looks interesting after his eyecatching second on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton, while triple AW winner Cicely has claims if she can transfer her progress to turf. Others to keep an eye on are King Of The Kippax and handicap newcomer Showman.

15:00 Ludlow – Vivas (Racing Post)

The Late Legend has a good strike-rate over fences and can probably cope with a 5lb rise for last month’s Warwick success but this might go to VIVAS, who hasn’t won for a while but ran well when placed in a valuable veterans’ chase two starts ago and was third behind two in-form rivals here last time. Mr Mafia may enjoy the luxury of an uncontested lead, but he has been out of form so far this spring.

18:40 Windsor – Rum Cocktail (Wolverhampton Express & Star)

Handicap debutante RUM COCKTAIL is well treated on the pick of her 2yo form and is open to further improvement this season. Navello, who has slipped to a handy mark, is second choice ahead of High Velocity who may still have more to offer. Most of the others have something to prove on one count or another.
