Sometimes you seem to find one that looks in front of where he sits in the handicap and that’s the case with Carlton Banks. He’s very talented but might not be the most straightforward. He will be dropped in and played late and has run a cracker underneath this pilot, Mikey Sheehy, previously. His rating of 80 doesn’t look like his ceiling.
16:35 York – Latin Lover
Latin Lover has been knocking on the door of late and should be primed to run a big race here having his third start of the campaign. He travels very smoothly into his races and possibly got there a little early the last two times. The trainer Harry Eustace does the right thing in relieving the weight off his back with a good 3lb climber in Pierre-Louis Jamin.
18:40 York – Heredia
Heredia is the only runner on the Sunday card for Richard Hannon and is well placed as she is in receipt of 11lb from the older horses. Showing a tenacious attitude on both her starts so far, she can pick up a decent pot that is on offer and continue her 100% record.
