15:20 Ayr – My Astra (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

MY ASTRA won last summer in her first two races (1m on turf) and good second in a Listed contest at Saint-Cloud (1m2f, heavy) in October; tongue tied when below form in Listed race at Kempton (AW) one month ago but that was in a close third, staying on over 1m, and this half-sister to smart My Oberon could still prove capable of overall improvement.

16:25 Ayr – Lullaby Bay (Racing Post, RP Ratings)

Has improved with every start, having her handicap debut at Beverley won from some way out, LULLABY BAY then found plenty under a penalty over Thirsk’s very different track 11 days ago (both at 5f on good); up further 6lb but clearly progressive.

17:30 Kempton – Fiorina (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

Clear promise in three runs in the autumn, FIORINA recorded her best RPR when sixth at Newmarket in October; moves into handicaps with some potential and the betting can guide.

18:50 Southwell – Benefact (Racing Post, Lambourn)

Little depth to this bumper and Nicky Henderson looks to have found a good opportunity for BENEFACT to emulate his brother who made a winning rules debut. Victory Club represents another top yard that does well in this sphere and is an obvious potential danger. Huntsman’s Call should reach the frame again.
