Pulled up on soft ground two starts ago but is 2-2 in good-ground handicaps, the latter win gained from the front over C&D last month; FULL OF LIGHT went up 7lb for that but remains lightly raced and makes obvious appeal.
18:10 Windsor – Run To Freedom (On The Nose, Expert Eye)
RUN TO FREEDOM made an encouraging reappearance in the Abernant and remains capable of further progress over 6f. Second choice is fellow 4yo First Folio who, like the selection, ran respectably at Newmarket on his seasonal debut and looks the type to rate higher still. Lord Of The Lodge and Tabdeed are respected on the figures.
18:40 Windsor – Shobiz (Daily Record, Garry Owen)
Has form figures of 2311 on turf, the wins gained in Redcar maiden (7f, soft) in October and Goodwood handicap (6f, good) last month; raised just 2lb for narrow success on latter occasion; SHOBIZ is open to further improvement in this sphere and warrants respect.
18:50 Leicester – Al Azhar (Racing Post, RP Ratings)
Stamina on his dam’s side, AL AZHAR improved for the step up to this trip on his comeback, having been gelded; did well to close down the leader, who’d had his own way, and a 3lb rise seems fair; holds leading claims.
