13:35 Newbury – Tiber Flow
You can make some kind of case for every runner in this race but I’ll side with Tiber Flow for Tom Marquand and William Haggas. He needed every yard of the 6f to get on terms at Newcastle but he can also stay over 7f. He’ll need a strong pace and he should get that at Newbury. He’ll do me.
13:50 Newmarket – Zain Sarinda
I can see why Ottoman Fleet is the favourite but it’s a fair ask for him to win this. Zain Sarinda for Tom Clover is very solid. He ran really well in the Derby trial at Epsom in April. That form has worked out too. Ottoman Fleet could be the best of the bunch but I’ll take him on.

14:10 Newbury – Foxes Tales
This race is more open than it looks at a first glance. Scope might want further and he might also need the run. The same could be said for Eshaada, who is carrying a penalty. I would just about favour Foxes Tales. He’s a good Group 2 and Group 3 horse. He gives his running at this level. He needed the run last time out at Sandown and the conditions will suit him. He gets weight from the top pair so he’s my pick.
14:25 Newmarket – Ernies Valentine
Ernies Valentine finished sixth at Newmarket last time out but he did well to do so after being stuck in a poor position. Paul Cole has put blinkers on him too which has intrigued me. He needed the run last time out so he could have improved. Mohammed Lyes Tabti claims 7lb too.

14:45 Newbury – Red Vineyard
I like Red Vineyard for William Muir and Chris Grassick. I thought he did a great job to beat Al Qareem last time out at Sandown in April. That form has been franked when the horse who finished third, Bolthole, won at Newmarket. Red Vineyard has gone up 5lb for the Sandown win and I don’t think that’s harsh at all. He’s a good each-way price too.
15:00 Newmarket – Bullace
I’m siding with Bullace for Ralph Beckett. He had a winner and a second at Newmarket on Thursday and he’s hopefully coming into form. Bullace runs well fresh and he’s been far from disgraced in Listed company. He’ll do me.

15:20 Newbury – Baaeed & Sir Busker (each way)
If Baaeed is ready, he’ll win this. He needs to have developed physically but I’m sure that won’t be a problem. It’s exceptionally hard to find a case against him.
In terms of an each-way pick, I like the look of Sir Busker at a huge price. He’s Group 1 class. He’s not the best in this race but he will have conditions to suit. 1m and a bit of dig in the ground is ideal. He’s a better horse on domestic soil but he was slightly disappointing last time out at Ascot. However, that tactical race with four runners didn’t really suit him, whereas this race will.
