Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

Lake View Lad Brian Hughes Aintree December 5, 2020

14:25 York – Girl On Film (Sheffield Star, Fortunatus)

GIRL ON FILM showed good level of promise in two starts over 7f at Newmarket last term, winning a maiden on the July course then fifth in the Rockfel on the Rowley Mile; open to further improvement this season; interesting.

16:10 York – Wild Crusade (Myracing.com)

Brother to very classy Yibir and Wild Illusion; four races on AW; WILD CRUSADE showed plenty of ability at Kempton on second start, before going one better there over 1m4f with cheekpieces enlisted for eight-runner novice in January and four-runner handicap in April; up 5lb today but produced relatively late for those wins and there’s a very good chance he has plenty more to give.

18:45 Hamilton – Flying Moon (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

FLYING MOON’s 3-9 record here includes figures of 2115 over C&D, and he has stamina to spare at this trip; no ground issues, currently 5lb below his last winning mark, and ought to have the shine knocked off him by last month’s return (all wins gained after no more than 40 days away); big player.

19:00 Aintree – Captain Morgs (Racing Post, Lambourn)

CAPTAIN MORGS was favourite when only fifth at Cheltenham (2m4f, good) last month but might have gone close but for a terrible mistake two out; has suffered quite a few reverses when sent off favourite but looks worth another chance.
