He is tipped to uphold the form of his penultimate run with Victory Lantern and Molly’s Gamble. If maintaining the improvement shown on her final start at two Bayou Belle should make her presence felt.
17:30 – Timourid
In an open race TIMOURID may prove best after making a bright start for his new stable at Leopardstown last month. There could be plenty more to come from dual Dundalk winner Elzaam Blue who is dropped in trip for his turf debut. Coill Na Sionainne was in good form at the end of last season. Breaking Story should not be ruled out despite having gone up 9lb for his Limerick win.

On ratings it only concerns Joseph O’Brien’s pair although Smooth Tom could find a nice bit of improvement stepping up to this trip. The market will be informative but GOOD HEAVENS, who has been gelded and is fitted with a tongue-tie, is preferred to stablemate Swan Bay whose reappearance was a little disappointing.

18:30 – The Model Kingdom
Noel Meade’s mare THE MODEL KINGDOM is unbeaten in three bumpers. Her Grade 3 Punchestown win was obtained off a modest pace, giving rise to hopes that she will have enough speed to account for these rivals. Startedwithakiss has a possible edge in terms of race-fitness over Inveterate, the pair holding a similar chance on form.
19:00 – Sionnach Eile
The likes of Great Realisation and the veteran Lord Erskine are worth considering after some good recent displays over hurdles but SIONNACH EILE was fourth in a premier handicap at Listowel when last seen and there should be plenty more to come from him this year.
