Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

15:15 Chester – Arcadian Sunrise (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)

Acts on soft; ARCADIAN SUNRISE won over hurdles at Galway festival and followed up at the York Ebor meeting (2m) last August on the Flat; not seen since disappointing on heavy ground in the Naas November Handicap; 7lb higher than at York where he worked his way steadily from rear to lead final 1f, looking as if he was suited by every yard, so this trip can see him resume improvement; some luck would be needed from off the pace but that untapped potential as a stayer should give him a very big shout.

17:40 Ascot – Havana Goldrush (Racing Post, Lambourn)

HAVANA GOLDRUSH has been confined to the AW for all seven starts, winning twice; ran surprisingly well when 150-1 for a Kempton 1m conditions race last time but must have been flattered to some extent; handicapper left his mark untouched.

19:00 Cork – Riot (Racing Post, The Punt)

RIOT won for John Gosden in 2019 and while there have been no wins since, he’s not been beaten far in any of his four starts for this yard; shaped like he would relish the return to 7f when beaten roughly 3l on return last month and should come on for that.

20:26 Wolverhampton – Bear Profit (Western Morning News, Jeffrey Ross)

BEAR PROFIT was not bred to be a sprinter on the dam’s side of his pedigree, but had little problem in getting the better of some previous winners on his debut in a Chelmsford novice (5f, Polytrack; 17-2) last month; has a 7lb penalty to carry, but he was impressive and the time was good; looks a useful prospect.
