14:15 – Super Superjack

SUPER SUPERJACK enjoyed a productive campaign last season and won with a bit up his sleeve on his reappearance at Goodwood last week, showing improved form but not doing a whole lot once in front. He is a very likeable type who should have even more to offer so makes plenty of appeal turned out under a penalty. Make My Day is feared back in this sphere from what could turn out to be a lenient mark.

14:50 – Annie Maher

No form to go on here and the market will prove informative, but from a pedigree point of view, ANNIE MAHER makes plenty of appeal. She cost 270,000 guineas at the breeze-ups earlier this year and is bred to be sharp, so she is put forward as the one to beat. However, both Shikhova and Immortal Beauty are a couple of other well bred types in very capable hands.

15:25 – Perfect Alibi

A lightly-raced field of three-year-old fillies, and a case can be made for most, but PERFECT ALIBI wasn’t far behind Spyfall (Dancing Tango further behind and very considerately handled) on debut at Newbury nearly three weeks ago, and she looks open to plenty of improvement. Follow That Star ran to a similar level to the aforementioned pair when second at Sandown and is respected, along with Wonderful Times and newcomer Crystal Caves in what should prove an informative event.

16:00 – Thunder Legend

THUNDER LEGEND was behind Saga on his debut but he improved significantly when opening his account at the third attempt at Hamilton last summer and may have been let in lightly on handicap debut. He beat a next-time-out winner on that occasion and he remains with plenty of potential on his first start for William Haggas. Saga bumped into one on his return at Kempton last month and is another very interesting type now handicapping.

16:35 – Zameka

The fitting of a visor will hopefully help ZAMEKA apply himself fully, and given there’s little doubt he’s well handicapped,  so he has to be the call in the hope he’s as effective on turf. A strongly-run race at this trip should suit him perfectly and horses with a good record on the all-weather often do well at this track. Sterling Knight and Justcallmepete occupied the first two positions in a Windsor handicap 11 days ago and they head the opposition.

17:10 – Mines A Double

MINE’S A DOUBLE won all three of his starts last season and is entitled to come on for his first start for eight months at Newbury in April now. He wasn’t beaten far on that occasion and he gets the nod to resume progress back up to six furlongs from a 1 lb lower mark. Many A Star may get his own way in front and ran well at Goodwood last week so is feared, along with Akkeringa, who appeals as still being on a handy mark on reappearance.

17:40 – Court Of Session

COURT OF SESSION has made the perfect start to life in handicaps, taking his record to two from two in comprehensive fashion at Lingfield last week. He powered away from his rivals in the straight that day, looking a useful prospect, and he can make light of a 6 lb penalty and bring up a quick-fire hat-trick. Khathak, Cumulonimbus and Paradias are all open to progress now moving into handicaps and they can fight it out for the places.
