MOE SEDWAY is a hardy sort and has an edge over Inchturk on course running. Middlemarch is a likely sort on paper. Schiele is also respected but stamina may be a concern.

17:50 – Barrington Court

A really interesting race. BARRINGTON COURT should bounce back and if she does she is more than good enough to win this. Mighty Blue hacked up in this last year. Holly Golightly is interesting on debut for her in-form stable.

18:20 – Seisai

The experience gained in Pattern company at two should benefit SEISAI who looked ready for this step up in trip when competing over 7f on her seasonal debut at Leopardstown. Paddy Twomey runs two. Sultanov Swing is a very interesting late-developer and may prove more effective over this trip than the stable’s French import Rumbles Of Thunder. Freedom Of Speech has a chance if her last run is ignored.

18:50 – Clemmie C

A fascinating maiden. CLEMMIE C makes plenty of appeal and should progress this year. Red Azalea is solid but could improve. Ha Ha Ha is promising for a yard back among the maiden winners. Not Uncertain is quite noteworthy at a price.

19:20 – Lamprog

The progressive LAMPROG looks capable of completing a hat-trick following wins at this venue and at Tipperary. Cork winner Gold Lunula and The Pargee Bee may give the selection most to do.

19:50 – Carirose

Following an improved display when going close at Tipperary CARIROSE (nap) makes plenty of appeal in a handicap of this standard. Fox Fearless is versatile enough to make his presence felt at this trip after winning over much further at Bellewsstown. Barnhill Rose appears to be improving gradually and Phoenix Open is worth considering following a Dundal third.

20:20 – Tooso

Johnny Murtagh’s runner TOOSO is not ideally drawn but possibly has more potential for improvement than most of these and should be suited by this trip. Several of her opponents have useful recent placed form, with Lucky Number, Barrys Rock and Derry Lad perhaps the most appealing of the group. Tipperary winner Darkened may be vulnerable off 6lb higher.
