Despite shouldering a penalty, BRAVO TEAM (nap) has shown enough to suggest that he can defy that now he’s stepped up to a more suitable trip. Spanish Present could be the chief danger if taking to the forecast sound surface, while support for Domandlouis would be interesting.

Ecossais could be boosted by the change of headgear and a win would be no great surprise but preference is for BIG NASTY, who ticks a box or two more than his three opponents and is taken to come good on the anniversary of his last success.

Potentially trappy but the suggestion is to stick with DOUGLAS TALKING, who still has potential and may be able to improve sufficiently to defy a 3lb rise. Sao is feared most, given that this race should be slightly easier for him.

This race looks there for the taking for DOWNTOWN GETAWAY, who may not have been at his best of late but may not need to be to win this. Diable De Sivola would be next best if somewhere near his Musselburgh January form, while Just Cause can follow them home.
16:55 – Gun Runner Cash
Although winning these races under a penalty is no easy task, Gordon Elliott looks to have found a good opportunity for GUN RUNNER CASH to do so, given there are arguably greater questions to answer for the rest of the field. Huntsman’s Call could be his chief threat, while an eye on the market is advised with regard to Timetotalk and Blazing Court.
